(More customer reviews)I recently bought and used this cleaner and was really impressed with how well it did. It's a concentrate, so once it's diluted, the price is very inexpensive. I was surprised at how many different jobs it did around the house! I was planning on just cleaning the sinks and ended up unclogging drains, cleaning the toilets and mirrors. It can also be used in carpet cleaners, so I'm planning on trying that next. I also read that it fixes squeaky hinges. I like that it's an organic product but at the same time gets the job done well. So many organic products I've tried in the past did not work as well as the regular cleaners. Plus, this cleaner has such a nice, light scent that I don't have to air out the room when I'm done. All in all, I was very impressed and ordered two more bottles!

(More customer reviews)First it doesn't "spray" it sort of blobs onto clothing and you have to rub it into the stain. Second it is less effective than just making a paste out of tide and doing the same thing. If you don't want to mix your detergent into a paste so you save 30 seconds by rubbing the foamy blobs into the stains it might be worth the effort.
Perhaps a spray nozzle that is adjustable would make it a better value, but since it only has one setting, the blob setting, its more annoying than effective.

One article talked about this stain remover but stated that it was difficult to locate in a neighborhood store. It was also the #1 choose for Goodhousekeeping which I found reputable. Another article talked about Oxiclean Max Force. So I decided to do my own testing at home. I purchase this product and Oxiclean MaxForce along with the new Tide Stain Release. I put them to the test and low and below, this product worked extremely well. It even took out a 5-year-old blood stain out of a pillow case. I was truly amaze. The combination of this product and Tide Stain Release did the job where Shout could not!! I found this product in Target but not in Wal-Mart, I have not checked other stores to see if it carried the product since Target is just up the street from me. This product is truly a God-sent, I'm going to the store tomorrow to purchase 5 bottles and an addition one to send to my sister to try in Germany. Trust me, if you are looking for that all-in-one truly superior stain remover Zout is your answer. (More customer reviews)There are lots of stain removers, but this one is definitely at the top of my list. I have used it to remove ink, coffee, pizza, lipstick, crayon, tar, baby formula and red drink stains from carpets and upholstery. It removes the stains pretty quickly and without a lot of work or wait time. Baby formulas are the worst because of the sickening smell and Gonzo took care of that too.
I really like that it is odorless and non-sudsy. After the stain is gone I do not want to smell the cleaner, especially in my car. A little bit goes a long way but I always keep a bottle in the house and in the car. It has really worked for me and I have recommended it to my friends who are happy with their results too.

(More customer reviews)I like Lesstoil cleaner. It works great. I like it so much so I bought a full case at a warehouse store. BIG MISTAKE. The Lesstoil 28 oz. size was supplied in bottles made of clear plastic, not glass as they once were. The unused Lesstoil sat near the back of a pantry shelf for several years, while an opened partially used Lesstoil sat on a laundry room shelf. Unknown to me or my wife, the cleaner ate through 4 of plastic bottles, destroying stored food, removing the paint, delaminating particle-board shelves, soaked the drywall, dripping down to finally strip the finish off the hardwood floor. Generally, everything not inert is trashed by long-term contact with Lesstoil. In each leaking bottle, the product always eats through the plastic at about the same location, near the lower indentation were the label fits.
Be kind to your home - DO NOT BUY AND STORE MORE OF THIS PRODUCT THAN YOU WILL USE IN ONE YEAR.
To safely keep Lesstoil on hand without running the risk of trashing your laundry or kitchen storage, we suggest you: 1) Save a glass bottle from another product and transfer your opened Lesstoil into it. 2) Tape the Lesstoil label to the substitute glass bottle.

(More customer reviews)When these first came out, I thought they were great. In fact, I couldn't believe how well they got stains out. I was very impressed. I always carried one in my purse as I spill stuff on my shirt DAILY. Yes, daily. I'm that messy.
However, not too long into their production cycle, I noticed they changed the material of the tips of these pens. Initially, they were a kind of felt material. A tad absorbent. Now they are hard plastic and I feel this is the reason these no longer work for me. Ever since they changed the tip material, I have been really disappointed with how these pens perform. What I'm left with now every time I try and get a stain out is a two-tiered stain; the larger stain where the Tide liquid expanded to and the original stain itself. Hard to know which is worse - my now larger-in-size and faded two-tiered stain or the original stain itself. Think about it: when you get a stain on something, using something absorbent really helps blot out the stain. With this plastic tip, all you're doing is spreading the stain out to a larger area. I remember when I first used these, the tip would get slightly off-colored...it was absorbing the stain.
Until they switch back to a felt tip, I'm done with these. They are a huge waste of money and succeed only in lightening the stain a little and creating a larger, off-colored surrounding stain.

(More customer reviews)De-Solv-It by Orange Sol removes sticky-icky stuff from surfaces, hair, skin, and clothing with relative ease. Gooey residue that would otherwise take a lot of time and elbow grease, if it could be removed at all, disappears with De-Solv-It and minimal scrubbing. I use it mostly to remove stickers, but it's also great for sap, gum, and any kind of adhesive residue. It works well to remove stickers from books and book jackets as long as the jacket is slick, not porous. I spray a little De-Solv-It on a paper towel and apply to the sticky scum. I wouldn't spray De-Solv-It directly onto paper, even if its coated, because De-Solv-It is oily and will stain paper if it's allowed to soak in.
Orange Solvent, the predecessor to De-Solv-It, was created in 1932 by Edwin L. Ackerman after he accidentally discovered that orange juice would remove stubborn dental impression cement from his hands. Thus citrus-based cleaners were born. Orange Sol claims that De-Solv-It works well on most kinds of stains, not just sticky stuff, including protein stains, grease, and food. I haven't tried it on food stains, as my normal laundry spot spray works on those. Ouixtar's (Amway) Tri-Zyme is hands-down the best thing on protein stains, including very old stains. De-Solv-It probably is good on grease. It was popular with people who worked on the Exxon Valdese oil spill in Alaska.
De-Solv-It is unfortunately no longer available in a squirt bottle. It comes in a 12.6 fl.oz. spray bottle. This is fine for those using it to treat laundry or large areas, but I have to spray it onto a paper towel to use it on a small area. And I really don't want this stuff to spray all over the place. There is a warning on the back of the bottle against using it on carpet backing, acrylic, some plastics, uncoated paper, suede & leather, silk, elastic, and khaki-colored fabric. But just a droplet of De-Solv-It will ruin modern furniture finishes, the kind that are applied by the manufacturer in either matte or glossy. So keep the spray bottle clear of any furnishings or wood decor that has a permanent finish.
De-Solv-It is biodegradable and emits no toxic fumes, so this is an environmentally-friendly and human-friendly product. It has a light citrus scent. Essential citrus oils, vitamin E, aloe vera, and organic wetting agents are among the ingredients. It contains no water, so this is not a diluted cleaner, and there is never any need to dilute it. You can set the nozzle to "spray", "stream", or "off". The packaging and inadequate warnings are my only reservation. Keeping that in mind, De-Solv-It makes quick work of sticky stuff.

This surfactant/enzyme/sodium tetraborate pentahydrate is the most effective stain pretreater I ever found. I buy this stuff by the case on Amazon because my local store quit carrying it. I usually pour the product into a spray bottle because I do not like the squirt bottle it comes in. It has never lightened or damaged any fabric that was colorfast.

(More customer reviews)These compact cartridges combine a filter and detergent and are inserted in the Panasonic shaver "base station" to effect automatic cleaning of the shaver. The manufacturer's recommendation is to change the cartridge monthly. I followed this recommendation initially, finding that the filter became quite discolored with trapped beard cuttings by the end of one month. However, since the shaver is a wet/dry shaver, I found that washing the shaver head and the cutting blades after each use and before inserting the shaver into the "base station" allows me to extend the life of each cartridge to at least two months, making the economics much more favorable. I'm not sure how much extra benefit the auto-clean function of the base station provides, compared with just washing the shaver head and cutting blades under the tap, but I suppose the detergent in the cartridge contributes to a cleaner result.
