(More customer reviews)I have a relatively unusual medical condition called lymphedema that means I shouldn't have needles or an IV in one arm because a life-threatening infection could develop. While preparing to go on vacation, I was looking for a medical alert bracelet I could wear in case of an accident to warn medics and nurses but wouldn't look too obviously like a medical bracelet. I didn't have time to get anything engraved but couldn't find a ready-made bracelet that would work for me until I saw the Fashion Alert Medical Stainless Steel Cuff Bracelet with blank stickers, which seemed to fill the bill.
The bracelet is attractive (and made for larger wrists like mine). It looks like a nice piece of jewelry but the red medical alert symbol at each end would immediately be noticed by an ambulance medic or nurse. I was surprised to find that the 16 stickers included two with the correct instructions for right and left arm as well as for many other conditions.
The only reason I'm giving the bracelet 4 stars instead of 5 is that the stickers are tiny and hard to read. (I easily solved the problem by writing the instructions in ink on a 1/4" blank label and taping it to the inside of the bracelet with clear Scotch tape.)
I was also very pleased with how fast the item arrived from [...]I ordered it Friday night and received it the following Tuesday, in plenty of time to take it with me on vacation. I even got an email from the company (in response to my worried query about how long it would take) saying that they would make sure it went out on Saturday. I definitely plan to use this company again!
