Tried the water additive and something the vet prescribed -- those did not do it either. Then I remembered hearing about Sangre de Drago. Looked up effects to make sure it would not hurt my dog and then ordered. Have been using a Q-tip to swap it along the gum line once or twice a day. The inflammation is definitely getting better. My dog is playing with toys again -- he had stopped -- so his gums must have been bothering him.

Sangre de Drago is a medicinal blood like latex tapped by indigenous people from a tree found in the rainforests of the Upper Amazon. The natives apply it externally to cuts to stop bleeding and accelerate healing, to disinfect wounds and skin infections, while forming a protective, flexible liquid bandage when dried.
