I really like the inclusion of the data tracking program to keep track of one's readings!
And I find this item VERY easy to use.
I am mainly writing this review to try to address the problems others experienced... (No, I do not have any ties to Samsung!) :-)
As to the data being lost when the AC adapter is plugged in, I am guessing that the batteries were not installed which would maintain the data when unplugged.
As to the issue of the Monitoring Program not having the ability for the user not being able to add notes and the like, I suggest via the Print Option to export it either as an HTML or TXT file and then either using MS WORD or MS EXCEL, configure the data as you please. (I tried both ways and prefer to import the TXT file into EXCEL and follow the prompts...)
(I know that doesn't solve the issue that the Monitoring Program doesn't have this capability to begin with, though!)
Also FWIW, users can go the Samsung site to download the latest software (v3.2) and software guide as well as the User's Manual and Quick Reference Guide. (To be honest, I don't know what v3.2 does differently than the v3.1 on the enclosed CD does other than put a fancy(er?) logo on the desktop.)
