Reviews that I see for this product which talk about readings being inaccurate may be due to poor technique in many cases. For example, your finger has to be clean and grease free. You also should not be squeezing the blood sample out of your finger as this changes the composition of the blood sample your are squeezing out and can provide inaccurate results (eg. you are also squeezing out oils on the surface of your finger, etc.) You also need enough blood sample to analyze (albiet it is still very small... just a drop). The technique that I use, and I think is easiest, is applying the blood sample directly to the test strip rather than using the enclosed capillary tube, which I find isn't always easy to use.
