(More customer reviews)I purchased these "Extractum Astragali" at Chinatown for $2.85 per box/10vials. Still have 4 boxes of 10 vials in each box. Already consumed about 15 vials over the last 10 days. There is nothing of good to report on this product. I looked on the ingredient label and it says: Carbohydrate 8 grams. Astragali extract in honey base. And it does taste very sweet. If you do calculations: the vial is 10ml equates to 10 grams in water weight. If sugar is 8 grams (8mls), you have 2 grams of god knows what in the vial you are consuming. It could be Chinese preservatives with a tiny drop of real astragalas extract. As soon as I found that it has less than 2 grams of no one knows what out of 10 grams (10mls), with 8 mls sugar --I am throwing all my boxes away. At $2.85 per box/10vials I am not going to risk liver damage from preservative, adulteration, or simply take it for sugar content. Your best bet to buy real herb and make tea from it.
