(More customer reviews)I take blood thinners and every little scratch and cut bleeds forever. But, not anymore. I've been using QR for about 8 months and it stops bleeding instantly, as advertised. It's saved a lot of otherwise ruined clothes and awkward moments trying to stop bleeding that won't stop. I highly recommend this product. I wish QR would sell this product in a bigger box with more doses than the four in a standard package. I carry this in my briefcase, have it in a desk in my office, my drawer at home, one in the car, one in my tackle box and of course my 1st Aid kit.

(More customer reviews)I have been on the drug Coumadin to keep blood at a certain consistency since 1990. I have had two heart valves replaced with artificial valves which requires ingesting Coumadin on a daily basis. All my life I have been bothered with nosebleeds. Coumadin makes them much more difficult. The physician's assistant at the Coumadin Clinic in our city recommended Nosebled QR and gave me few samples. Even though I must keep my nose pinched a little longer than the average person, it has been a real boon to my handling nosebleeds. I order several aplications at atime and even carry some in my car so that I can deal with a nosebleed when away from home in case one happens. I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

"This product stops bleeding cold. Right Now. Note- it is expensive and a little messy, so don't go using it for everyday cuts, those where the bleeding is easily controlled by pressure. But this could very well save a life, especially out in the field.
Get one of the large packs and keep it at home in your 1st Aid kit, and one of the smaller packs to carry in your beltpouch or daypack, along with a few Band-Aids and the usual stuff.
Most first aid kits do not contain this product as it is too expensive, so you'll have to add it yourself. What is handy with this product is that you can apply it to yourself in a pinch."
So, you'd think I'd rate a kit with Quikclot with *****. However, I can't quite. See, other than the Quikclot, this is just an ordinary handy little 1st aid kit.

A decent list, but other than the Quikclot, hardly unique.
So, it would be quite a bit cheaper to just take your already existing 1st Aid kit and just throw in the Quikclot, which runs $10-$15.
But, this is still a good kit, and fairly complete even though quite compact. If you don't already have a small kit, this is not a bad choice.
