Just be aware that ADC does not supply the plastic connector required to connect this to the sphygmomanometer. This is probably because they don't know what sphygmomanometer you will be using it with. So, be sure to order the appropriate connector.

(More customer reviews)This is a great little set to keep with a portable first aid kit, or as a spare for a professional. The stethoscope auscultates well, and includes several bell attachments and extra diaphragms. My only complaint on the scope is that the bilateral tubes are exposed (most better scopes have two tubes, but they are enclosed in a single sheath). The problem comes when listening to gastro sounds and sometimes lung sounds, and the noise from the two tubes rubbing together interferes with listening to the patient sounds. I have seen some who use these scopes tape the two tubes together in multiple places with electrical tape to try and help with this issue, but I find that this practice inhibits the flexibility of the tubes a lot and can interfere with usage. If the tube noise is a huge problem during a particular session I find that you can rub a little baby powder on the tubes to help with the noise temporarily.
The sphygmomanometer is a nice unit, the dial seems accurate and the cuff holds well when inflated (which is my main complaint with the less expensive units, they tend to come off the patients arm when inflated). The other thing I look for in a portable model is the valve on the bulb that inflates the cuff. Sometimes it can be difficult to adjust the valve when emptying the cuff, you either have a cuff that deflates way to fast to get accurate readings or with the tiniest adjustment a cuff that seems to take forever to deflate. This valve on this model makes it easy to regulate deflation rate though.

It took me awhile to find a large adult cuff online but I finally settled on this one. It functions extremely well and does fit obese arms. Not so good for skinny folks tho! They will need a standard adult cuff. If made by the same company, will work just as well. Very good cuff for the price and appears well constructed. This one will probably last me the rest of my life.

(More customer reviews)Decent BP cuff. Fit and finish is good, especially on the valve and bulb. However, one major issue that bothers me here is the needle. It is painted a very dark red that is difficult to view against the black background given the shadows created by the sunken dial. It really needs to be white (or bright yellow or something). I bought this cuff for EMS work and when taking BPs in environments without direct, overhead light as we often do it is a real pain to read. I imagine in a standard clinical setting with flourescent lights it would do fine, though.

There are two cuffs, one regular and one large sized. A gray carrying case holds the unit.
The display is very large and easy to read. Showing blood pressure and pulse. There is a symbol indicating too much movement, which means you'll need do re-take your pressure. There is a symbol for irregularheatbeat and a warning symbol forhypertension.
I'm thrilled with this product, the only fault I could find was it hums a bit loudly. Still it is a quality monitoring unit, much better than ones I've seen at drug stores.

I have duchenne muscular dystrophy is hard for my nurse to hear for my blood pressure because of weakening heart and this stethoscope picks up everything. The book pressure cuff is accurate as it was exactly or within a point of my automatic blood pressure cuff. I got this one as a backup.
It is in my favorite color of orange although I don't know why they show a blue one. Throws you off after a little bit you see it says orange. I guess they have many other colors, but be careful don't just go by the picture.
