For some strange reason - and remember everybody is different - this product had no effect on blood sugar control in my case whatsoever. This was not the case for straight ground cinnamon like you buy in the grocery store. It could drop my blood sugar like a rock. I've heard from others, who said that this product did work for them, that it has a very short shelf life and is much more susceptible to heat and humidity than straight cinnamon. Of course, your mileage may vary, and if you are having trouble with straight ground cinnamon, it might be worth a try.
Supposedly, the only real difference between cinnulin pf and ground cinnamon for people using it to help control their blood sugar is that cinnulin is water soluble and ground cinnamon is fat soluble. Thus some people who take ground cinnamon over long periods of time could have a buildup in their systems of the toxic elements that are unrelated to controlling blood sugar. Thus the advantage of cinnulin over cinnamon - but only if it actually works.
