(More customer reviews)I read that ginkgold is effective for treating tintinnitis (ringing in the ears or hearing sounds that aren't really there). I have an acoustic neuroma, which is a benign tumor on the eighth cranial nerve, and causes vertigo, imbalance, dizziness, and funny noises in my ears. Sometimes it's just a high-pitched whine, sometimes it's country music, sometimes it's the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Thank goodness there aren't any voices telling me to do terrible things....that would require treatment significantly stronger than ginkgold!!!!
The ginkgold seems to help, but I find I have to take at least two tablets per day for any degree of effectiveness. As with most herbal remedies, I have to take it consistently for it to work, and I guess there's no stopping point.
If you are suffering from imbalance, ringing in the ears, or memory problems, I've found that ginkgold HELPS, but it is not a panacea. You have to avoid alcohol and tobacco (which is difficult -- isn't that how most of us got to this point to begin with?) and you have to monitor your blood pressure and blood sugar. However, as part of a larger program, the ginkgold works, and this particular brand is excellent for doing what ginkgold is supposed to do -- improve your memory, improve your sense of balance, and keep the mysterious conversationalists from interfering with your normal hearing).
One word of caution: because it works on your memory center, you may experience very vivid dreams for a time. I've found that the forbidden glass of wine in the evenings helps to offset this particular side effect.....

(More customer reviews)I have been a wine lover for many years. I can drink quite a bit more than you average guy. It is not out of the question to drink 8-10 glasses of wine in a day. I always drink at night after work and never had any negative effects on the job as I can function fine the next day. The problem came a year ago when in a routine physical my doc did blood tests and my liver function tests showed VERY elevated levels...like over 3-4 times what they should be. I didn't pay heed much but did taper my drinking for awhile.
Time went by, I put it out of my mind and when I really did try to control my number of drinks I again went to a doctor to explore my options. I took another liver function test and they were all sky high. He asked me to reduce my drinking and return in 2 1/2 weeks to repeat the tests. I immediately researched fatty liver and started to find that this product had a lot of buzz on the internet. I ordered it priority overnight shipping and I also went to Trader Joe's and bought Milk Thistle. I took the recommended dose for the next 2 1/2 weeks and returned to get my blood tested again. My liver enzymes were all down significantly in just 2 weeks! To make it more amazing I did reduce my drinking some but was still drinking 4-6 a day. When my doctors and the nurses told me that this was something they have never seen in patients that fast when they stopped drinking. They said "I don't know what you are doing, but keep doing it!" That was enough for me. I continued to take these as well as 1000 mg of milk thistle a day since and I can not believe how much better I feel. I still struggle to moderate drinking but this product clearly made me feel better by helping my liver detoxify my system. I definitely recommend this for any reason you have to think your liver function is compromised from medications or other toxins we all put in our bodies!

Once perhaps twice a month 'might' be awoken by a leg cramp, but this is after overdoing it during the day; putting too much stress on my legs for hours on end. Walking doesn't seem to be the trigger; but standing in one place or especially sitting too long in the same position is my culprit. The pain at times was so severe I felt that if relief wasn't forthcoming, remove the leg - yes, it was that bad.
Used another product for several years previous to Circu Caps, it was excellent as well - then the idiots that made the product discontinued production. Took several months to find another product that works as well.
