The first time around I did not realize that you need to be taking between 6 -9 pills each day. With my second child I would take 6-9 a day. (Once I felt like my milk was producing well, I would stop) and within about 48 hours I noticed a huge difference in my milk production! I am a working mom who pumps so it was great for me!

The meter itself is accurate and inexpensive and therefore I rated this two versus one star. One other point: the seller requires returns within seven days, not the 30 days allowed by Amazon.com; so it looks like I will keep it. Note to self: do not order items which do not have any customer review.

(More customer reviews)This product came as described and in a reasonable amount of time. I have not used it long enough to know if it works for me, but it appears to be a good quality product.
Fenugreek naturally has a strong maple syrup odor, but I think the alcohol in this extract makes the smell even stronger. And the alcohol makes it taste bad. In the future I plan to order Fenugreek extract that is mixed with water instead of alcohol.

I took -- and still take, 3 tablets of fenugreek and blessed thistle each per day at least twice a day. If I am not able to pump, I add another round of the herbs and let my son nurse more, to keep my milk supply going strong. This is a wonderful blessing to know that my milk supply can easily be reestablished, if stress, schedule or other factors inhibit our desire to feed the old fashion way! Five stars for fenugreek (and blessed thistle, too!) As a side note, the lactation nurses have told me, that these herbs do lower your blood sugar, so they should be taken with food. I say that from experience. All in all, it more than met my expectations.

The stethoscope and cuff were exactly the same as used in my CNA class, which made me very happy because they're so easy to use. Stethoscope has many pieces to change out if you may be listening to heart murmurs, etc, but it is very good and I could hear the systolic and diastolic BP's every time when using it. Overall, good kit, for not much money!

(More customer reviews)I got this set for nursing school (AS-RN program). I like the BP cuff as it is Velcro, the gauge is clear and sturdy as is the bulb and screw. The stethoscope is pretty good, the only problem i have with it is that occasionally i can only hear out of one ear and must wiggle the tubes to make it work. I like the replacement parts and the changeable earpieces. The ears are not bent forwards or back like other models, which is sometimes a good thing but is sometimes uncomfortable.
Great set for the price, lovely color. I would recommend as these issues are most likely specific to mine and not representative of all.

I have duchenne muscular dystrophy is hard for my nurse to hear for my blood pressure because of weakening heart and this stethoscope picks up everything. The book pressure cuff is accurate as it was exactly or within a point of my automatic blood pressure cuff. I got this one as a backup.
It is in my favorite color of orange although I don't know why they show a blue one. Throws you off after a little bit you see it says orange. I guess they have many other colors, but be careful don't just go by the picture.

I was very pleased that the item arrived two days ahead of schedule but was unhappy with the quality of product I found. The Blood Pressure Cuff was made of very cheap material, which was almost paper like (but did work). The stethoscope, although made of better quality material, was impossible to use (unless you have sonic hearing). I sat in a room with absolute no noise and could barley hear a blood pressure and could not hear lung sounds. Overall this is a cheaply made product and unless your going to give it to a kid to play with it is not worth buying.
