(More customer reviews)I love this product and I love the price. The hardest part of taking a blood pressure is fumbling around with the tubes and parts of the regular sphygmomanometer. I fell in love with a classmates Riester but was put off by the $100 price tag! This was almost 1/2 so thanks for giving me a great product at a great price! I wish I had been aware of this product before purchasing my first blood pressure cuff set. It is so much easier to manage that I would gladly have spent more money initially!

Reister's ri-san aneroid sphygmomanometer features an easy to use and ergonomic design. The air release valve is operated by a simple finger-tip control. It is suitable for right or left handed individuals. Plug-in tube is connected to top of manometer for undisturbed handling. Attached cuff is made of nylon, especially important for patients with latex allergies. All of Riester's sphygmoanometers feature easy to read linear, aluminum dials that begin at 0 mmHg for increased accuracy. Comes in a convenient vinyl case for easy transport. Replacement cuffs are available in newborn, infant, child adult and large adult sizes. This product is available in four colors (slate grey, blue, saffron and green) to match other Riester diagnostic equipment including stethoscopes, otoscopes and more.

I figured it said cardiology so it would be a little better than the one I bought from the college bookstore. NO. The ear pieces fell off before I even made it to the hospital floor and only one side of the bell works. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

(More customer reviews)This is a great stethoscope. I got it as a gift after I got a job in a Neonatal ICU. It was not the smallest size, but it worked GREAT even on the micropreemies. I thought it would be to large and get to much overlap of heart and lung or lung and bowel sounds, but it was wonderful. Great product.

(More customer reviews)I use this at work. This is probably the third I've purchased. All the other ones have gone 'missing'.
I've tried all the other ones, but I have to say that I'm sold on this model.
It's lightweight, easy to handle and store in a pocket. The sound is just what I need too. And it comes in a number of colors so you can sort of stand out. The price is right too.
Definitely a keeper and will continue to buy more of this model as others probably will go 'missing'.

3M Littmann Lightweight II S.E. Stethoscope Review

(More customer reviews)Although most current medical students, residents, and cardiologists are aware that the Cardiology III stethoscope by Littmann is in vogue, I decided that the price tag attached to one of those stethoscopes was outrageously astronomical and decided to purchase this stethoscope instead. As the name implies, it is lightweight, and the acoustics are impressive. I don't believe that the cardiology III, which I have used, offers anything more that is usable in terms of acoustic data, unless you have very sensitive ears and/or are a cardiology fellow/attending. Remember that medicine is definitely not about who has the fanciest or most expensive tools, but about caring and thinking.
I also recommend this specific color; I ordered it thinking that no one else would have this color. I was crestfallen to find that it is a popular choice among nurses, who also choose this color thinking that it's not popular, and therefore a less likely candidate for theft/long-long term borrowing. However, I have grown attached to the color; it's easy on the eyes, and the computer monitor doesn't reflect the true color. It's a little darker.

(More customer reviews)I got this set for nursing school (AS-RN program). I like the BP cuff as it is Velcro, the gauge is clear and sturdy as is the bulb and screw. The stethoscope is pretty good, the only problem i have with it is that occasionally i can only hear out of one ear and must wiggle the tubes to make it work. I like the replacement parts and the changeable earpieces. The ears are not bent forwards or back like other models, which is sometimes a good thing but is sometimes uncomfortable.
Great set for the price, lovely color. I would recommend as these issues are most likely specific to mine and not representative of all.
