(More customer reviews)I had a persistent cold and ear ache for some time, and when it got to the point that I could barely hear, I went to the Whole Body department of Whole Foods and asked them to help me. They told me to buy this Oreganol, but the .45 oz bottle cost $25, and I told them no way. Well, they gave me a free sample (always a good sign), and this stuff drained my ears and sinuses about five minutes after dosage (I did buy the product). It works fantastically. It tastes like, well, a super-concentrated dose of oregano, which is not very delicious at all.
It does burn for a minute or so after dosage, and may cause heartburn. If you frequently get heart burn, this is not the product for you.
I bought the tiny .45 oz bottle, which they told me would last about six months with daily dosing of 1-2 drops to prevent illness. Mind you, the 1-2 drops can be easily diluted in water, removing the awful burning sensation and terrible taste. For colds, you will need a higher dosage applied directly under the tongue and then swallowed.
Well, I ranted about how great this product was to my friends during the cold season. For many of them it worked very well, for others it only added to their misery. Yes, this product will not work for everyone. One of my friends, who is into herbal medicines, tried this product and it made her throw up. This was followed by hours of heartburn and no relief from her sinus pressure.
What I would recommend is that before you buy this product, see if you can get a sample from a friend or from your local health food store (in my case, Whole Foods).
When it does work, it works great, and when it doesn't, it's an awful experience.

About two years ago my doctor helped convince me to start taking better care of myself and to lose weight and exercise more. Oh, he has been telling me that for years, but his heart was truly never in it in my opinion. His strongest point in convincing me came when he finally insisted on seeing me every 6 months for a blood pressure "check", in order for me to continue getting the same med's that I had been taking successfully for over 25 years. Not really wanting to be part of his vast entourage on such a schedule that keeps him enjoying a life of lobster and cracked crab, I decided to start exercising more, eating better, and trying some new supplements that studies have shown to be of benefit for high blood pressure.
I came across quite a few articles about research into Lycomato as an antitoxin, as well as a benefit for high blood pressure. Lycomato, a complex containing the root benefit Lycopene, the major carotenoid found in the tomato, and that which gives the tomato its typical red color, is an important antioxidant with a unique ability to inactivate or "quench" free radicals that can damage our cells. The research and studies on its many advantages are easy to find on the web and most impressive indeed. However I decided to try it strickily for the benefit it offers as a possible blood pressure reducer. Although I have been exercising now for some time, and still taking my regular med's, I feel I can gauge pretty well the benefit of the Lycomato singularly for it is my latest and only addition to my regiment. I bought this very same brand on another online site that was a little cheaper than Amazon (by a couple of bucks only), and are on my third month with it. As far as my calculations are concerned, this Lycomato is definitely having a positive effect on my BP. I decided to take a reading about 3 times a week at different times of the day for a more accurate measurement after starting it. And then compared it to the average I was getting before. As far as I can figure, the Lycomato has lowered my diastolic number, (the lower one) by an average of 5 to 7 points. (I don't pay much attention to the high one, it fluctuates a lot, and is not as important). Not at all bad for a regiment only 3 months old. This average of a 6 point drop has has been very consistent. And since the price of this supplement is very reasonable, I will be continuing to take it. Trust me when I tell you that I have tried lot of other supplements that didn't seem to have any effect at all, never mind a 6 point average. This Lycomato is as safe to take as eating tomatoes, and I have noticed no side affects with it whatsoever. I am going to continue a regimen with it. And if you suffer from hypertension and either wish to supplement your prescription drugs, or handle it entirely naturally, I highly recommend Lycomato. You may not have the same success as I did with it, but you have nothing to lose in my opinion. You may even fair better. (More customer reviews)I can't recommend the Stresseraser highly enough. I bought it because I sometimes have trouble sleeping and have high blood pressure. I have had it six months and use it twice a day: when I wake up and just before I go to sleep. When I insert my finger in the side of the unit my breathing is all over the place. After a few minutes it begins to smooth out and eventually is very regular. For the rest of the day I have more energy and react more calmly to the events of work and home.
I've become very interested in how this works and can't find a lot of information. Certainly, it is very close to yoga and meditation techniques. But I find it easier to use and it helps me focus more quickly. They've kind of turned it into a video game by awarding points for the right type of breathing. It takes me about 8 minutes to earn the 30 points necessary to produce a relaxing result. I try to do about 100 points a day.
Here's another interesting little tip: the stresseraser is great for golf. I use it before every round. It helps my mind stay connected during my swing rather than just kind of blacking out halfway through.
I think this thing is revolutionary and worth every penny you spend on it. But one little note of caution, you still have to sit down, be still and use it. If you're always on the phone, always with one eye on TV or email, it can't do the impossible. But if you give it a chance, maybe it will help you become a more relaxed and effective person.

(More customer reviews)I've been working to get my blood pressure down for about a year. Monitoring my blood pressure every day helps me find connections between my diet, my exercise level, and my blood pressure.
I bought one of those cheap versions you can buy at the pharmacy for $30 or so. It worked OK, but I found you have to do everything exactly right to get a consistent reading. After a few weeks, the velcro in the armband became a little loose.
Then my girlfriend gave me this unit. Yes, it's more expensive. But it's not *that* expensive, and I like it a lot more. It gives a more consistent reading I'm convinced. The manual specifies an accuracy of +/- 3 mm Hg. But even more than the machine's accuracy, the design makes it easy to consistently position yourself for each measurement. I believe consistent positioning is more important than the machine's inherent accuracy.
The unit is about the size of a six-pack of beer. As such, it's easy to toss into my luggage when I travel.

Well, it seemed to work -- every time I drank the stuff before working out, I could easily get an extra 30 minutes in before I had to stop. So I looked at the contents, and among other things it contained 2500mg L-Arginine. After finishing the box and doing some research on L-Arginine, I searched around for a cheaper alternative source (the drink mix was almost $3 per single packet). This is where I landed, and I bought one of these 2-packs to try out. Doing the math in my head, the amount equivalent to the drink mix is about 30-35 cents, or less if you sign up for the auto-ship!!
I now take 3000mg about 30 minutes before I start working out, and I can feel a significant difference. Recovery time is much faster -- no matter how hard I work, once I stop to take a break I feel like I'm ready to start again in no more than a minute or two. I'm also there a lot longer, as I said earlier.
The only thing I'm not crazy about is the tablet itself. Personally, I prefer the capsule style, like the Vitamin Shoppe capsules. I think I might stick with those from now on (plus, they're 1250mg each instead of 1000mg). But that's not to say that these aren't great too. It's just a matter of preference for me.
