Just be aware that ADC does not supply the plastic connector required to connect this to the sphygmomanometer. This is probably because they don't know what sphygmomanometer you will be using it with. So, be sure to order the appropriate connector.

It took me awhile to find a large adult cuff online but I finally settled on this one. It functions extremely well and does fit obese arms. Not so good for skinny folks tho! They will need a standard adult cuff. If made by the same company, will work just as well. Very good cuff for the price and appears well constructed. This one will probably last me the rest of my life.

The stethoscope and cuff were exactly the same as used in my CNA class, which made me very happy because they're so easy to use. Stethoscope has many pieces to change out if you may be listening to heart murmurs, etc, but it is very good and I could hear the systolic and diastolic BP's every time when using it. Overall, good kit, for not much money!

(More customer reviews)After 4 months of limited useage in an EMS course the Lumiiscope failed entirely on me. I can't say it was the same model (the model isn't printed on the thing)but ...it was a close model. It is not one that I want to rely on however.
The model I have was never used over 20 times. Then one day I tried to take a BP and it choked above 40....then suddenly sprang to 300 and the proverbial "ping" occured. It decided after that everything was 120!~
I'm saving the cuff...but ..I really don't want to go back to that day when I had to rely on it.

(More customer reviews)Decent BP cuff. Fit and finish is good, especially on the valve and bulb. However, one major issue that bothers me here is the needle. It is painted a very dark red that is difficult to view against the black background given the shadows created by the sunken dial. It really needs to be white (or bright yellow or something). I bought this cuff for EMS work and when taking BPs in environments without direct, overhead light as we often do it is a real pain to read. I imagine in a standard clinical setting with flourescent lights it would do fine, though.

There are two cuffs, one regular and one large sized. A gray carrying case holds the unit.
The display is very large and easy to read. Showing blood pressure and pulse. There is a symbol indicating too much movement, which means you'll need do re-take your pressure. There is a symbol for irregularheatbeat and a warning symbol forhypertension.
I'm thrilled with this product, the only fault I could find was it hums a bit loudly. Still it is a quality monitoring unit, much better than ones I've seen at drug stores.
Highly recommended.

I took it to my Dr's office and checked it against their readings. The systolic was about right, but the diastolic was 30 low. Several readings were taken to confirm this. I have carefully read the instructions for cuff placement and could find nothing wrong with the way I was using the product.
I gave this 2 rather than 1 stars since it was consistently giving the same reading. Maybe this particular unit was bad and others might do better. I think I'm going to give up an digital measurement and go with a completely manual product where you use a stethoscope.

I have duchenne muscular dystrophy is hard for my nurse to hear for my blood pressure because of weakening heart and this stethoscope picks up everything. The book pressure cuff is accurate as it was exactly or within a point of my automatic blood pressure cuff. I got this one as a backup.
It is in my favorite color of orange although I don't know why they show a blue one. Throws you off after a little bit you see it says orange. I guess they have many other colors, but be careful don't just go by the picture.

Cuff is accurate, but valve is cheap and gritty feeling. Overall just not acceptable, nor is it as advertised.
If you do buy it, you may want to go find a different vendor who will take returns.
This Seller wants a 15% restocking fee and wants me to pay return shipping. - No Way!

Now I'm stuck with a cuff I will never use. As always, the best way to buy personal items is to go pay the retail price, where you can see and touch what you are buying. Very irritating transaction!

Almost identical readings. It stores the latest pressure readings in memory and gives an accurate pulse. You can order it on line or possibly find it locally for less. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 since it took a few tries to get the band set the correct way. You don't need to undo the arm band velcro once you have it set for your arm size. Stay healthy!

(More customer reviews)I bought this blood pressure monitor (HoMedics BPA-200)for my in-laws at the same time I bought a different model for me and my husband (the Panasonic EW3122S Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor). I bought the HoMedics because my mother-in-law has vision problems, and I felt the large screen would be a benefit. The large screen was great and the way the product operated was very user friendly, however the readings were very inaccurate and inconsistant. We were getting readings that were ridiculously high, like 205 over 165, then a repeat check would get a reading like 60 over 45, and we followed all the instructions on how to place the arm band and not to move or talk while taking a reading, etc. We then compared the HoMedics with the Panasonic. The Panasonic was much more accurate and consistant. The Panasonic readings were very close or the same as readings we took at pharmacies and doctors. Maybe I just got a defective monitor from HoMedics - I'm not sure, but I wouldn't buy another one from them. I was so embarrassed that I gave my in-laws my Panasonic and then I sent the HoMedics back to Amazon. They were wonderful by giving me a label to cover shipping back, but I sent it back a month ago and still haven't received my refund. When I emailed them, they said they have no record of my return yet.
