(More customer reviews)I recently read a book about Magnesium-taurate to reduce blood pressure...It was a little high priced for my budget, so I did a little research and found that magnesium is "chelated" (combined in a special process) to various amino acids. The chelation process makes it more absorbable, specially for old folks like me...So I ordered Chelated Magnesium from Country Life (for a lot less $), and am happy to report That after one month of taking this product three times a day, my blood pressure has dropped from 198/140 to 140/78, and is still dropping slowly. It took a couple weeks for it to start working, then I had a significant drop for about a week, and now am off the drug the doc had given me. I DO NOT recommend that anyone stop taking blood pressure meds, without your doc's knowledge. A good doctor will work with patients who want to try this alternative to drugs....Magnesium deficiency is common in this age of processed foods, and can be the cause of Hypertension...I take Calcium, potassium , and zinc with the magnesium for balance....Also, Country Life has fast courteous service! (More customer reviews)I had originally bought a 10-packet box of a workout energy drink mix to try, not really knowing much about what was in it. Well, it seemed to work -- every time I drank the stuff before working out, I could easily get an extra 30 minutes in before I had to stop. So I looked at the contents, and among other things it contained 2500mg L-Arginine. After finishing the box and doing some research on L-Arginine, I searched around for a cheaper alternative source (the drink mix was almost $3 per single packet). This is where I landed, and I bought one of these 2-packs to try out. Doing the math in my head, the amount equivalent to the drink mix is about 30-35 cents, or less if you sign up for the auto-ship!!
I now take 3000mg about 30 minutes before I start working out, and I can feel a significant difference. Recovery time is much faster -- no matter how hard I work, once I stop to take a break I feel like I'm ready to start again in no more than a minute or two. I'm also there a lot longer, as I said earlier.
The only thing I'm not crazy about is the tablet itself. Personally, I prefer the capsule style, like the Vitamin Shoppe capsules. I think I might stick with those from now on (plus, they're 1250mg each instead of 1000mg). But that's not to say that these aren't great too. It's just a matter of preference for me.

After taking the Gel CoQ10 for a few weeks my blood test got slightly better and when later I ran out and stopped taking it for a while my blood test got worst again so I went back on the Gel CoQ10 and my kidney results got slightly better again. This may be a coincidence and I don't think this is a cure for anything but my doctors at John Hopkins say its not hurting anything and I'm and my kidneys are hanging on longer than they should have so to keep doing what ever I'm doing. So I include Gel CoQ10 in my diet and exercise plan and if it just buys me a few months to enjoy the Summer and travel without dialysis or just buy me peace of mind it's a very small price to pay. For that reason it earned 5 stars in my book.

(More customer reviews)This is a great product. As long as I take it with food it does not upset my stomach or cause digestive upset. It is a great help with relieving muscles spasms. The only issue is that the product is not labeled correctly here on Amazon.
The bottle I received reads: 1 Tablet contains 500 IU Vitamin D-3 (as cholecalciferol), 200 mg Calcium (amino acid chelate) and 100 mg Magnesium (amino acid chelate).
The product description says there is 250 mg Calcium, 125 mg Magnesium.... which would lead one to believe that you are getting a more potent formula than what is available at other sellers. Source Naturals does not advertise a 250/125 formula on the company website.
Bottom line, it's a great product, but I didn't recieve what was advertised.

I started looking into joint pains when I got tired of hearing all the horror stories from my extended family and their friends regarding knee pains. I finally found out that oral hyaluronic acid can be used to treat osteoarthritis pains and is more effective than the usual glucosamine-chondroitin combo.
I gave these to my mom who was skeptical of their effectiveness. They worked great and her doubt faded away quickly. The clicking sound her joints made when she walked went away. She no longer has stiffness and pain in the knee when waking up in the morning.
She also started recommending it to her friends at work. Most of whom are post-menopausal and have joint pains. Usually it's knee pain. They also are amazed so much of the pain goes away. Some of them have tried various expensive over-the-counter supplements that never gave them these kinds of results. Any pain left was treated with vitamin c, d3, magnesium citrate, and omega-3 fish oil capsules, which Amazon also sells.
Take a lower dose or consult your doctor if you have lymph edema, are taking blood pressure drugs, blood thinners, or taking anti-inflammatory medications (aspirin, Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Aleve, acetaminophen, etc.) before taking any hyaluronic acid.
Some misconceptions: Hyaluronic acid might not work on lower back pain or pain from rheumatoid arthritis since those are different conditions and are not related osteoarthritis. Research vitamin deficiency that leads to lower back pain (Methyl B-12, magnesium citrate, D3, comfrey ointment) and immune boosters for rheumatoid arthritis (D3, C, omega-3 fish oils capsules). Make sure you find info. based on the latest studies. Most of the data around the Net is based on out-dated studies with low-doses that are are usually ineffective.

It's at 30MinutesOfSunshine [dot] com) Others take 10,000 i.u. daily. So far, no one has died and no one has had any side effects. However, most of their rheumatoid hand pain goes away and they stop getting colds. In other words, they have great immune systems. This is why doctors want you to "be careful" with vitamins and take their dangerous drugs instead.
Doctors are still recommending 400 to 4,000 i.u. for Vit. D3. That amount is for children, not adults. It takes doctors a long time to catch up to the latest studies. Some of my recent reading talked about the importance of taking calcium and magnesium in a 2:1 ratio together for better absorption. Many of the combined products available on Amazon fail to state the dosage, which is ridiculous, but when you don't know the dosages of each ingredient, it's hard to know if you're getting that proper ratio.
Even this product failed to give explicit info, but as it stated it had that elusive ratio, I bought it. Calcium is usually a cheap supplement and this combo was not, but to get that ratio...
So ok, we got the ratio, but you have to take 6 pills a day if you want the RDA. We're just not that devoted and won't be buying this again.
Amazon should require that supplements sold on their site must state dosage information for consumers.

He normally has ice-cold fingers and toes -- to the point of complete discoloration -- even in hot weather, and even more so when stressed or fatigued. (See the Wiki article for description and photos.) He has been taught & used relaxation/breathing techniques and can warm up his fingers that way, but it takes time and is not always convenient.
He is NOT much of a pill taker at all, but in just these two weeks of use, he has become committed to this product. His fingers are warm and a normal red color now.
This product does not cause loose stools (diarrhea) like mag citrate could at this dosage. We have now put it on auto-ship, which makes it less expensive. For two people, one bottle lasts one month (6 pills/day x 30 days = 180 pills; x two people = 360 pills.)
