I just got off the phone with Mike at Ucomfy and that is what he told me about my less than 1-yr-old machine.
My machine was great when it worked but now it is broken, broken during the fake 1 year warranty period and the company refuses to stand behind their machine.

For back massage realistically you need a second person to handle it for you. While seemingly heavy, when using it the vibration causes it to 'float' and move easily. I would like to see some vibration-dampening padding on the handles. The Medirub is worth every cent I paid for it and I strongly recommend it for people interested in serious muscle relaxation.

But they are so cumbersomely made that they are clumsy to handle, velcro panels cling easily to their WRONG mates, with one plastic section falling over another and wires tangling with each other, that actually putting them on can become a major struggle. It's almost a two-person job to put them on (removing them is easy), and one person struggling alone to use them may well lose patience and give up the effort. One suspects that the designer/manufacturer never actually TRIED them.
