(More customer reviews)As a sufferer of a set of symptoms that are defined as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, I am keen on finding anything that will raise my energy level - within reason. I ordered this after seeing a television ad, but after I received it and read the label, I personally have concerns. Besides normal vitamin, mineral, and herbal ingredients, the main active ingredient is DHEA, a substance classified as an androgenic steroid. While a claim made that DHEA is metabolized into testosterone, this action is controversial. In fact, DHEA can also be metabolized in estrogen like-compounds. If DHEA is in fact converted to testosterone without involving the normal endocrine feedback loop, there are potentially negative side effects associated with pure testosterone supplements.
I personally have decided not to take this product; I would recommend to anyone using this product to do their own research first. Also, I have NOT used it, so I can not attest to any potential benefits it may offer, nor can I say it has any harmful side effects. The Progene ads are very up front with their ingredients in the site where I ordered it; I should have read it more closely before I ordered it. I just don't think it's for me personally.

If you have a version with yohimbine I suggest starting with one a day and later going with 2.
