(More customer reviews)If you need a product to stop bleeding fast this is the one. This is the second version of the game changing HemCon Bandage that started the military hemostatic revolution. If you are at all familiar with these agents, the HemCon product utilized chitosan as the active ingredient. The original HemCon Bandage issued to the military was pure chitosan, this newer version is gauze based with the active ingredient baked on. The product is Z folded which allows it to lie flat and be picked up without having to unravel it. Much better than a roll. It's packed pretty flat too for easy storage. It gives all of the same qualities as the original bandage with greater flexibiity of guaze. If you are an outdoorsman, motorcyclist, or just want to have it in your pack, this is the product to have.
