It doesn't affect my blood sugar levels...it's good for my gums and teeth.
It tastes great and no icky aftertaste.
I use a bit more than I would cane sugar.
I have recently learned that Birch Sugar and other xylitol products are poisen to dogs and cats.

(More customer reviews)Xylitol is a great substitute for sugar and can be used one to one. I've even used it in jam and it works exactly like sugar. It's a great exchange in recipes and just to use instead of regular sugar in you sugar bowl. It's only fault is that it's soooo expensive.
