(More customer reviews)I tried the white stevia powder, and didn't like the taste, so I knew what I was in for. Thought I'd give it another try though, as a sugar alternative and supplement.
Pros: What I like is that this seems to be natural and unprocessed. Its greenish, appears to be powdered leaf form. I'm assuming there are no other ingredients, as I didn't see any listed on the container. Its got small sprinkle holes in the top of the container for shaking it out, and a bigger open hole for pouring.
It tastes similar to white stevia, but it also has an "herbal" taste. Almost like a green tea. Its a leaf. It tastes like a dried leaf. I've only used it in cold beverages, and it balls up on top of the liquid. It takes a little stirring, and the balls don't completely go away, but its not a big deal to me.
I don't use much. I can taste the sweetness, but it seems like I'd have to use half a teaspoonful to sweeten a cup of beverage. If that's the case, the container won't go far. However, this particular product isn't being marketed as much of a sweetener as it is a supplement.
If you're using this as a supplement (with the added benefit of sweetness) then its pretty good. You can add it to your mouth rinse or whatever you use it for.
If you're using it as a sweetener, be warned that it doesn't dissolve too well, and its got a leafy taste.
