My hair & nails really improved, but the key to this product is that you take 1,000 mgs. of Vitamin C so that your body absorbs the Silicia. I take it twice a day and aches & pains I had before in my shins went away, too. And I know this product works b/c when I stop using it, things start aching again. Silica is good for rebuilding muscle, collagen, bone, tendons, nails, hair, etc. I'm 52 and everyone thinks I'm in my 30's still!!!
