Never-the-less I tried this because it was recommended by a physician I know to be credible and the idea that supplementing the beneficial bacteria in the digestive system seems sensible with some evidence in its favor. I am prone to acid indigestion which has almost completely vanished from the day I started using Complete Probiotics. A lot of other benefits are claimed for this such as enhancing the immune system but I have no way of evaluating that for myself. Disappearance of my acid problem by using something that doesn't seem to have much potential for harm is good enough for me. It also occurs to me that this might be a good supplement for someone taking antibiotics since those tend to decimate the intestinal bacteria necessary for proper digestive function. So list Probiotics with the 1% of supplements that actually are beneficial.
