(More customer reviews)I never heard of a Spike Mat and I purchased it from a local newspaper report. It is perfect for my multiple trigger points, muscle spasms in thoracic area of back. Most places are hard to reach and the Spike Mat is PERFECT! to relieve some of the built up pressure without a pharma patch. I am so against chemicals in the body. What the Spike Mat offers is a good pain, remember when you would bite on your gums when your teeth were coming in? It's like that,once you lay down on spikes, then you can adjust pressure on areas that need more spiking. Actually, I tore it out of box when it arrived and used a tshirt then bare skin to relieve my back muscle problems. I love it and use it daily.

I use this cream before electroylsis and it works well as long as I make sure to apply it a full half hour before treatment.
I have recently had hand surgery and my skin itches under my cast. Very carefully I applied some LMX 5% cream and it relieved it immediately.

(More customer reviews)When i was a kid, i would cry myself to sleep because Advil, Aspirin, Tylenol, etc would not work. I would even sometimes throw up from the pain. I found out that my headaches came from certain foods (usually of the processed meat variety: hot dogs, lunch meat, etc) and caffeine withdrawal. I loved Mtn Dew, but if i didn't have it for a day or two i would get these crazy headaches. Now its like when Excedrin touches my lips, i can already feel my headache going away. THATS HOW GOOD IT WORKS!!! It works so good that it has trained my brain in an almost Pavlovian manner to make the headache go away before my body even digests it. OH and do not take it if you have been drinking as a hangover preventer... you are just asking for blood in your stool. Doing so can really mess up your liver just as taking Tylenol because of the acetaminophen in it. Otherwise this is seriously the best medicine PERIOD... because it works!

Have shared it with many friends, and they are always surprised that this weird looking thing can do so much with such little effort. My only slight complaint is that the nobs are a little hard. I may try to cover them by tying material around them. Strangely, on bare skin they feel good, but over a shirt they feel hard.

I called Bayer Health Care regarding the product Bayer Crystal Aspirin after a pharmacist advised NOT to take it for an onset of a heart attack. This product contains caffeine & 850 mg of aspirin. Because of these features Bayer recommends that you DO NOT use this product for the onset of a heart attack. The FDA recommends that as little as two 81 mg aspirin is sufficient.

(More customer reviews)I have a cancer type mass in my leg. After two surgeries, here I am just like anyone else with an injury and it aches and throbs from time to time. Having not had therapy since after my 2nd surgery, there's still a bit of scar tissue built up in there, alongside the rest of the cancer I couldn't remove without the losing the ability to flex and retract my ankle. I figured out that blood-flow had a lot to do with my pain. Chances are if your blood isn't moving as freely as it is the rest of your body, that area is going to be fatigued, sensitive, and won't get the sustenance it needs to grow. I used this as an anklet and I felt the change within a day. My leg felt stronger, hardly any pain, and overall I could get through my days and nights even if I was knocked around a bit.
It is sensitive to water and can be thrown off if used between more than one person. If you get one, take if off before you get into water, and keep it to yourself.

(More customer reviews)My gf is a professional dancer and as a result often comes home with soreness/tightness in a variety of areas. We've purchased a number of massage implements over the years and of all of those, this is by far and away her favorite. It doesn't look like much but it and its hard to explain but this little tool definitely does the trick for tightness in many of the classic areas of the body. The tool has three different sides (serrated, bladed, rounded) that can be used for a variety of areas. It takes a little experimentation, but you position the davinci in a certain area (e.g. shoulder blade in picture) and you apply weight to it. It can be used for pressure point relief, stretching areas and vertebrae alignment. The material feels like a firm rubber, but it does give way. For a harder plastic I would recommend the davinci tool firm (blue color). The other benefit is that its portable - my gf literally takes this with her almost everyday to her dance studio. She showed it to her dance colleagues and they all started getting it to!
As for buying one vs. two, I got two because they are cheaper per tool and now we have one at home and work. One is probably enough for most households if you keep it at home.

(More customer reviews)Before you get this pack, be sure that you know what size you want. The back buddy comes in a few sizes, and these are the two smallest. The mini back buddy is actually more handy than the other part in the set for me, as the larger one of the set is the small of the real back buddy tools,the back buddy jr., and is meant for thinner or smaller people. Still pretty good, but if you are a larger man, I'd suggest getting one of the larger models, or the Theracane, whichever is cheaper, as they both do the same thing, allow you to reach trigger points for yourself, instead of waiting for a therapist, or begging your significant other.

Within 5 minutes of opening the package (sturdy packaging from DBROTH) I was massaging a tight muscle in my back that I had not been able to reach before. I am 62 and have had over 40 years of back aches. I have tried stretching, yoga, the tennis ball in the tube sock thing, a hugger mugger roller, and every over the counter pain pill ever invented. Last night I took a hot soak in the tub and then 30 minutes of theracane and back buddy. This morning I woke up and my back was not aching. I don't remember the last time that happened. These items came with the booklet from Theracane that showed massage positions. You can download the manual from the Body Back Buddy web site. I also ordered the trigger point workbooks. I will read them some day when I put the canes down.

(More customer reviews)I highly reccommend this product for those who suffer with back and neck problems. I have a slight curve in my back and neck which has now at the age of 48 is taking it's toll. I do see a chiro regularly and so in between visits this comes in handy. I have very stiff shoulders and neck and this really works good at keeping those knots forming. I bought this package 2 for 1 because I must share it with those I love and this is a better price than ordering seperately. The reason I gave 4 stars is that I do find the racket ball with my back to the wall works better on the back, but all the other areas this works great without wearing out your hands trying to knead out knots or from applying self acu pressure. It's great on the feet too if you do reflexology. Great product, you won't be sorry for this purchase.
