I'm training for a 10K and the product didn't kill my stomach or other funky side effects. The package came fine with no problems. I'll would try other Deva products. [The review is for Vegan Deva Glucosamine/msm but the amazon has it tagged as Omega-3 with a picture of CLA???]

(More customer reviews)When this product finally went from "out of stock" to being available, I was very excited but I re-read the reviews ... somebody pointed out it has Maltitol in it ... and just look in the list of ingredients, yes it does. Now I'm not buying this junk. Maltitol is an artificial sweetener, a sugar-based alcohol compound. *WHY* on earth would the makers of a stevia-sweetened line of products use other sweeteners, especially the artificial sweeteners that we're all avoiding by switching to Stevia-based products? It makes no sense. This product needs to go into the trash, and somebody else needs to make an only-stevia-sweetened product line; this SteviaDent is not it. Very disappointed with greedy capitalists that cash in on the Stevia craze with a misleading name instead of offering the product that we want.

(More customer reviews)This hemp protein powder gives a lot of options, from adding it to a drink for extra fiber & protein to simply consuming on its own. A spoonful of it has a slight nutty flavor comparable to wheat germ. Unlike flaxseed, which sticks to the teeth even after brushing, hempseed is easy to rinse & brush off. Supposedly, the amino acids in hempseed are more bioavailable than most other plant sources. My observation is that hemp protein didn't result in gastrointestinal upset like soy. As a health nut, I get blood tests to see how diet & exercise affects hormones & lipids. I was glad to find out that hemp protein doesn't lower dihydrotestosterone (DHT) like flaxseed lignans did (yes, DHT has value & is not necessarily an evil villain conspiring to kill hair follicles & swell prostates to the size of grapefruits).
It's good variety for those seeking alternative protein sources. Amazon charges less for hemp protein than most other locations. I'm quite satisfied with this product.

(More customer reviews)Vegans and vegetarians have two barriers to obtaining DHA: It is commonly derived from fish (coldwater fish) and when supplied in easy-to-swallow capsules, is encapsulated in gelatin. Of course, vegans/vegetarians won't consume either.
Then again, even though DHA is converted from ALA (flaxseed sourced) in the body, the conversion is hindered by the processing of non-alpha linoleic acid (LA). So the safest bet is to get DHA directly. If you're vegetarian/vegan and prefer to not consume fish juice and bone jelly (gelatin) then this product is perfect for you.
The DHA is sourced from algae, probably the same algae that provide DHA to fish, and is delivered in v-caps, vegan capsules that don't use animal gelatin. Some doctors consider this a purer form and recommend algal DHA to children and pregnant mothers.
Be aware that there is a light fishy smell so if that bothers you, swallow quickly.
